We receive no Government grants to fund our work. Some people organise fund raising events, while the bulk of our funding comes from many people donating small regular amounts by Standing Order.

We incur no administration costs in the UK as the team give their time voluntarily and pay any expenses personally. The only exception is bank changes. This means that more than 99.5% of what you give goes to the work in Siret. Something we are very proud of.

A simple instruction to your bank will mean a monthly donation is made automatically. Many people donate £5 per month, and hardly miss it, but add all those fivers up, and we get a substantial sum.

• One gallon of petrol.

What we can do with £5

• Pay a teacher for 2 days.
• Pay the heat, light, and water for half a week.
• Provide a garden to grow vegetables, animals for interaction, thus aiding the young adults to learn life skills for a week.

By signing a simple Gift Aid form, the charity can claim 28% tax relief on your donation, making £5 worth £6.40 to the charity. It's simple, it's quick, and the tax man will not come knocking on your door.

In return you will receive our newsletters, an annual "thank you" and the warm feeling that a small donation from you has made a big difference to an under-privileged orphaned young adult in Romania who needs continued support.
